Two Louis XVI gilt bronze Andirons, French work of the 18th Century. 
They are guaranteed genuine by Gouthiere. 
Come from the collection of Sir Richard Wallace and I bought them from Lady Lady Sackville-West.
They consist of an urn with flame, with garlands as decoration.

Beautiful group in dark bronze of the 18th century. "Prometheus devoured by an Eagle" signed and dated Renoud 1773. French work of the 18th century. 
Comes from the collection of Maquis of Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace.
Renaud Charles, sculptor, was born at Beire-le-Chatel near Dijon. He was sent to Rome in 1777. Among his known works are "Apollon du Belvedere" in marble, and his bust of Houin, known French painter, both at the Dijon Museum.

Beautiful bronze with dark patina "Ulysses binding his arch" by Bousseau. French work of the 18th century. Comes from the collection of Lord Hertford and Sir Richard Wallace.
Bousseau Jacques, born at Lacrespilliers, Vendee, March 17th, 1681, died in Spain in 1740. He was a pupil of Nicolas Coustou. He was received into the Paris Academy in 1715, and produced as piece de reception in marble "Ulysses binding his arch", of which the above mentioned group is the bronze.
The marble is now at the Louvre. Among other works he sculptured Cardinal Dubois' tomb, Church Notre-Dame, Paris. First sculptor also to King Phillip Vth of Spain.
