Mr. James O'Toule,
Jacques Seligmann Galleries,
3 East 51st Street,
New York City.

Dear Mr. O'Toule:

We are now organizing the committee for the benefit exhibition of our "First Salon of American Humor" which opens December 3rd, with a private viewing to which we shall have the pleasure of inviting you.

This exhibition comprises political caricatures and cartoons from Pre-Revolutionary days to the present and is gathered from museums and leading private collections of this material as well as from the better known humorists of the day.

Last year, when we undertook the benefit showing of our international Exhibition, we organized our own committee of patrons. This year, we are changing this plan and are writing to ask whether you have among your list of clients, one or two whom you might wish to have us invite for our committee in your name.

Sincerely yours,

Audrey McMahon
Executive Secretary.
