Dear Mademoiselle Cornillot:

As soon as I returned to New York, as I promised you, I have written for a catalogue [[catalog]] of the exhibition of Monsu Desiderio in Sarasota, Florida, a few years ago, and as I believe I told you, more or less simultaneously with this exhibition here appeared a very interesting article in the Burlington Magazine, London.

As I am leaving New York again in the next few days I have left instructions with my secretary to forward this catalogue [[catalog]] to you as soon as she will have received it.

I do hope you will find it interesting.

Another note I had made in connection with your so very interesting museum, was to post you about the exhibition that was held in London, and where portraits in the style of your English school "Young Men's Portrait" were shown. The exhibition I am referring to was "Exhibition of works by Holbein and other Masters of the 16th and 17th Centuries", Royal Academy of Arts, London 1950-51, and similarly may I also call your attention to the review that appeared at that time in the Burlington Magazine.

The artist I had in mind is Hans Eworth and you might agree with me after consulting these different documents.

I am happy to have this new opportunity to tell you again how much Mrs. Seligman and I enjoyed our visit with you and Mme. Picard, and we remember with much pleasure your many courtesies and the efficient help you gave us in our research work.

Will you be so good as to convey our best compliments to Mme. Picard and do accept from us both our best greetings and wishes,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
