Dear Mrs. Parker:

We just cant have the exhibition now, much to my disappointment. Neither the Dallas Museum or Texas State College for Women can have it just at this time. Nor can the Star-Telegram (which has the Skippy strip) help us. In our present state of finances I'm afraid we had better not try to assume so great a responsibility. Then too, our Centennial celebration is closing a month earlier than was planned, so altogether we had better wait a while; but do hope we can manage it after the first of the year. Will that be alright?
