Mrs. Parker,
c/o Messrs. Jacques Seligmann & Co.,
3 East 51st Street,
New York City

Dear Mrs. Parker:

Mr. Percy Crosby, who is one of our valued clients, has written me of a deficiency in our service in connection with a telephone message you left for him.

I am taking the liberty of writing you in order to find out the day and time you left this message, so that I can trace the mistake to the point where we can find the guilty employee.

I should very much appreciate it if you would take a few moments of your time to inform me of this as we feel that we owe both you and Mr. Crosby our apologies.

Sincerely yours,

E F Voit
