Dear Mr. Crowninshield,

We had the pleasure of going up this morning with Mr. René Seligmann, to your lovely apartment, and were very much interested in your fine group of Segonzac paintings.

From our client's desires, we could gather that he would be especially interested in the two large landscapes,

1- "The Bay of St. Topez"
2- Grey landscape with the bridge.

If you would be kind enough to let me know the net price that you would like to get for these pictures, and if this price is within the range of what our client is willing to pay, we will ask you if it would be convenient to you to let us have the pictures here, for a certain length of time.

Looking forward to the pleasure of your answer, and hoping we shall be able to dispose of one of your pictures,

Please believe me to be

Yours very truly,

(C.M. de Hauke)
