Collections of fishes made in Nicaragua, by Charles W. Richmond, were purchased. Harry W. Perry explored in Honduras collecting fishes and other objects in Natural History. Dr. W. L. Abbott obtained collections of fishes from the Indian Ocean at Seychelles, Aldabra, and other islands. Mr. J. H. Camp, stationed on the Congo, west-central African coast collected fishes, but unfortunately most of them rotted before he could make the shipment and to be thrown away. Those received came in very bad condition. Mr. Frank P. Davis obtained specimens of fishes in Central America.
