Dr. G. Brown Goode,
Assistant Secretary,

Sir:

I hand you herewith list of alcoholic fishes to be exhibited at the Atlanta Ex-position. The specimens have been wrapped in cloth, securely packed, and are now ready for shipment. The glass plates upon which the specimens are to be mounted have also been packed, and the jars turned over to Mr. Horan for packing at Mr. Earll's request.

A complete list of the fishes bearing markings corresponding to those on the glass plates has been prepared and will be turned over to Mr. Benedict, who I understand will mount the specimens.

The family and species labels have been selected and arranged so that there should be no trouble in properly labelling each fish.

Very respectfully yours,
