Captain,
I have the honor to request that you will forward me the list of lands, houses, and tenements turned over to the owners in this Sub District as soon as possible, as there are parties enquiring about such properties, supposed to be in charge of the Bureau, but which are not borne on my return; Also please send me a complete list from the Records of your office of all lands in this Sub Dist. under charge of the Bureau, as I have heard of some that are not on the Records at these Head Quarters.

I have requested Capt. Gear to inform me about the ambulance horses &c. and will write you tomorrow. Please instruct me relative to the huts and shanties mentioned in my letter of the 26th inst.
