No. 90 }  "Extract"

VII  In accordance with instructions from Maj. Gen. O.O. Howard Commissioner Bureau of Refugees Freedmen and Abandoned Lands, dated Washington, September 12th 1865, the following described property, so far, as the jurisdiction of this Bureau extends, will be restored to Mrs. Hannah F. Outlaw who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the lease under which the said property is now held shall expire. One tract of Land known as the "Hammock Place" with improvements containing about 5 acres near Beaufort N.C. Nothing in this order is to be construed as giving any claim upon the Government for Rents or Damages.

to state that the three two story frame buildings at Morehead City ordered to be transferred to the proper officer of the Freedman's Bureau are situated on the dock which has been ordered sold. The purchaser of the dock will have the right of way rendering the buildings valueless to the Bureau. I respectfully request authority to sell the buildings referred to when I sell those already advertised for sale at Morehead City on 2d of April 1866
