Van Horn. the Post Commander. The Court not anticipating that the support of the entire Poor of the County would be so soon and so suddenly thrown upon it did not. impose a sufficient Tax. to support all. and that which had been in will not be placed in the hands of the Wardens under existing Laws. till Feb Term 1868. and the Consequence will be that without some assistance from the Government there will necessarily be it is feared some suffering among the destitutes this year.
