Bessica Raiche had been considered in her time one of the "new" women:she drove an auto, wore bloomers while playing sports, & took active part in such masculine activities as shooting & swimming, besides being an accomplished musician, painter, & linguist. But what really set her home-town of Beloit, Wisconsin talking was her return from school in France with two new interests - aviation & a french husband.
