'An Historic Flight'
Herbert W. Cruickshank Jr., pilot of the Gannett Newspaper helicopter, watches as Irving L. Moselowitz, vicepresident in charge of production of Bond Stores Inc., assists Blanch Scott to alight from the craft after it made the first helicopter roof landing in Rocheser atop the Bond factory in Goodman St. yesterday. Miss Scott learned her aviation from Glenn Curtis and in 1910 became the first woman in the United States to solo an airplane.
