It was well done & extremely well acted. The photography was good, too. The story had [[?]] & wasn't worse than some Western (far-fetched) films I have seen. Eve. at 6 - cocktails at Mr. Mrs. Irving Licht. Interesting new people. Mr. Mrs. Chen Loo, Chinese journalists both studied in the States - degrees - Wife brighter than husband. He, a big handsome Indian, iron grey hair, early fifties. She, a once beautiful, almost still beautiful, English woman, dark haired, blue eyes, thin white skin, slender, chiseled features (classic) cold, thin hands. Mr. Chaudry, Pakistanian, suave, tall, slender, black mustache [[strikethrough]] about [[/strikethrough]] early thirties. Clever, sophisticated. Medium height, round, strong face, greyish hair & mustache altho he says he is only 35. Nice teeth & smile (They all have pleasing voices.) Thought me the 'best looking woman at the party' & invited Lou, Dorothy & myself for his New Year party at the Strand.
