[[strikethrough]] Saturday [[/strikethrough]] Friday, March 11th

Worked 4 hrs. on portrait of U Nu. Then a full social day. Invitation I could not refuse, before my departure; tea for ladies only at Eleanor Nelson's at 4 o'clock. After that, tea at Ambassador & Mrs. (Patricia) Gor-Booth. Bob Nathan & Mr. Cook & Louis all had a discussion, while Dorothy, Pat & I made small talk. Decided (since they like the drawing) to put some color in it (Monday sitting at 11:30)

Got home in time to dress & change for a cocktail party at Alexander & Grusha Titicheff and then at 8 o'clock on to the Bryants' for dinner. Spent most of the evening talking with Bracha & David Hacohen, exchanging itineraries.
