July 29, 1944

Wm. C. Hull,
Executive Assistant,
U. S. Civil Service Commission,
Washington 25, D. C.

Dear Sir:

Reference is made to your letter of April 29, 1944 in responce to my application for service credit under the Act of May 29, 1930 as amended.

You informed me that the total amount due for the period from October 10, 1933 to January 25, 1942 would be 860.87.

My Son G. A. Knabenshue has agreed to advance this amount, but he was able to send only $400.00 at this time, and will pay in the balance by January 1, 1945.

I am sending the $400.00 to the Treasury by this mail, and inclosed is a copy of my letter.

Will you please let me know if this arrangement will be satisfactory.

Sincerely,

Roy Knabenshue
Alamogordo, New Mexico.
