[[stamped]] DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR March 3, 1849 [[/stamped]] UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR NATIONAL PARK SERVICE GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK GRAND CANYON, ARIZONA April 9,1953 Mr. Roy Knabenshue 4241 East Live Oak Arcadia California Dear Roy: Someone from Grand Canyon recently got acquainted with you in Arcadia, and brought me your card with a message. 'Tis good to rediscover your whereabouts! Your name always brings back the blimp flights over Pasadena when I was a boy, an also memories of our friendship while you were working in Washington. I hope I may picture you as enjoying life as a retired gentleman. Makes me wonder if, with your trailer, you move northward in summer and southward in winter, like the birds! Do wish you could get up our way sometime. Meanwhile, accept my best greetings to you and yours, and hope that you are well and happy. Sincerely, Harold C. Bryant H. C. Bryant Superintendent
