Dear Paul[[?]]

Yours of the 18th. received.

The balloon is coated with Latex and will not heat, and is in good condition. It measures 62 feet in length by 16 1/2 in diameter. this would no doubt be too large to inflate within the building. We will go into that matter later on.

The Flying Tigers will carry the outfit to the Newark Airport, free of charge. Can you take care of the transportation from Newark to Washington?

Shipment as follows; 1 large bundle, balloon. 1 bundle containing propeller shaft and frame work knocked down; propeller crated; rudder crated; gasoline engine crated; 1 box containing parts.

The canvass hangar was disposed of. you would not have space for it.

The engine was completed and before we moved out of the Airport, we tested the motor. It worked beautifully. Miss Rambeau kindly offered the use of her garage to store the outfit. It has been in storage for the past year or so.

The first move we should make, is to ship the outfit to you. When do you want it?

Sincerely
