Dear Mr. Knabenshue:

"I regret to inform you that we do not have any of the 1/32" 3-ply mahogany plywood in stock for rotor blades, although we have a large order for same with the Haskelite Manufacturing Company, 208 W. Washington Streetm Chicago, Ill. I suggest that you get in touch with them and purchase your requirements directly. These sheets are 15" wide by 72" long, 3-ply mahogany, 1/32" total thickness. We are also enclosing the following drawings which we trust will be helpful in the repair of the blades:

Drawing #3100 - Assembly - Rotor Blade
" 3115 - Tip - Rotor Blade
" 3153 - Root - Rotor Blade Assembly

In the repair of a cracked section of plywood between two ribs only, we suggest that on the outboard end of the blade, say beyond 40% of the radius, that you make a local patch utilizing a false rib and scarf splice - as illustrated in the accompanying sketch. At the inboard end of the blade where the droop bending loads are high, it is not advisable to utilize this type of construction.

Trusting this information will be helpful in your repair word and wishing you every success, we are

Yours very truly,
