Adm.
2/25/42

Chief of the Air Corps,
Munitions Building,
Washington, D.C.

Dear Sir:

The Indian Service acquired a Model 81 Fairchild Photographic plane from the National Park Service, and we are now making a major overhaul which includes recovering the entire machine.

We will require 200 yards of your standard airplane fabric, and we wish to inquire if you will not be kind enough to arrange to have this material shipped to Mr. E. R. Fryer, Superintendent of the Navajo Indian Agency, Window Rock, Arizona.

It is extremely difficult for us to secure any funds as everything is being used for national defense, and we would, therefore, appreciate very much your letting us have this fabric at no cost.

Sincerely yours,

Commissioner.
