ARIZONA

1. ARIZONA CORPORATION COMMISSION - The commission has not been vested with any direct authority over aviation by legislation. However, by virtue of the power vested in it under the constitution and laws of Arizona, the Arizona Corporation Commission has assumed jurisdiction over part, at least, of the aeronautical activities within the State.

2. POWERS AND DUTIES - Only such as have been assumed by the Commission and are within the limitations imposed by the State Constitution.

3. FINANCE - No separate provisions made for financing.

ARKANSAS

NOTE: There is no regulatory law in force in Arkansas at the present time, due to the repealing legislation of 1933. The Department of Aeronautics of the State of Arkansas, created by previous acts of general assembly, was abolished. The following is quoted from the act abolishing the Department: "SECTION 1. That the Department of Aeronautics of the State of Arkansas, as created and defined by Act No. 96 of the acts of the general assembly of 1929, Act No. 17 of the act of the general assembly of 1931, and Acts Nos. 9 and 110 of the acts of the general assembly of 1931, is hereby abolished. SEC. 2. Immediately after the passage of this act and its approval by the Governor, the highway commission of this State, is hereby authorized and directed to offer for sale, at private or public sale, any and all properties coming into its possession which are now in possession of the board of aeronautics herein abolished and the proceeds of said sale shall be deposited in the State treasury to the credit of the State highway fund. SEC. 4. All laws and parts of laws in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and an emergency is hereby declared
