Book of Keels now. It was Pollock, Modnrian, Matisse - and I still get something there.

- Pollock, Hofmann, Rothko didn't think of themselves as giants. They were people making a statement. But now the following generations are sniffing the wind.

Painting development:

- Painting has to go through a natural state of influence before you identify yourself.

- I don't keep in touch as much as I used to. I guard my studio time more carefully now.

- An artist absorbs like a sponge. When you are working you are open and allow it to come.
