Dear Sir, Pursuant to instructions received from Bvt B. Gen'l C.H. Howard Ass't Com's'r we have made purchase of Blankets, Kerseys & Flannels & now forward bills of same.

The Kerseys were shipped from N.Y. & we were obliged to prepay the freight.

Case #71 contains 10 Blankets selected as samples, but we think they are just a little better than the lot as we bought it.

Hoping all will prove satisfactory, we are
Yours truly

#50 is represented to be the sample bale by which the lot was bought. We took out 10 as a check on the packers.
