October 1, 1932.

Dear Ray:
I enclose usual monthly statement, still without any credit to account of Piscitelle. or Mc Cann. but, still in hope.

Have you any spare photographs of big house, which were taken from plane?

A lighted cabin plane went over the house about ten oclock last night. All in Central Square at that time were very much interested, as it is unusual here.

I hear a lot about business being just around the corner, but guess I am on the wrong corner. Howver understand from Transcript of yesterday that A,. Telephone, Western Union and Postal Telegraph Cos. report increase in business.

If nothing of consequence shows us, from about October 11th, to 16th, expect to take a short trip. This includes one holiday and one Sunday, therefore would not lose much time, if able to take it.

Henry has been in bed most of time since his operation, on account of a cold. He stated today, that his mouth was set for a steak tonight, think that is a good sign of improvement.

The turnpike, from the corner eastward, is being finished very fast, excepting a final lane out of three from Main to Granit Street, on account of Burks meadow. Even the center lane has sunk about an inch on account of one of the heavy showers. Our wall is in its proper place, but can't see any further in rear of house, until lane and sidewalk are finished from the corner.

Best regards to all,
Your brother,
Bill
