Still hope to be able to do something on that damn Blacksmith. Henry is going to speak to someone sometime, but when? 

Have not received any word from Mother, with exception of fact that she arrived OK. Lill. states that she is coming home at one time, but it has been changed more or less. 

Business of all kinds, in which we are interested, is so damned haywire, that we might take a trip somewhere, for about a week before we get in the promise to pay class. I have been optimistic for the past few years, that, I must admit, [[strikethrough]] it [[/strikethrough]] hurts.
