Dear Raymond:

The usual monthly statements are enclosed, Also another liquidation slip to sign: Have been busy as hell on collections today; Galvin requested that I go down and receive the interest due: ($187.50); also received all due from 70-74-76 Pearl Street, but, did not receive Howard check as expected; Called him by phone, and, got usual balony handed out by most any large borrower "What are you worring about": However I got it about 1.45 PM. by personal appearance, at which time got another $400.00 on principle; check to amount of $100.00 as your portion is enclosed.

On account of lateness of receiving check from Howard; which business I wished to clean up for the day; had to call Lill. and Henry to have checks to cover their notes to same amount. Had a saucy reception from Lill. as she was going out; Henry was on duty at the bar and lady stated he could do nothing until 4.30 PM, at which time the other man would comeon duty; also, asked, why didnt I tell him abou it in the morning when I saw him. I was able to receive both of the offset checks, making deposits for Trust-Henry-Lill at same time.

Hope to be able to take that short trip as suggested in previous letter.

Best to all,

Your brother,

Bill.
