with but two seats, and engines having been used up to 100 hours.
Banks is trying out the 25% flying proposition for the International at Weston today. Passenger carrying has been very poor at the Muster Field. Wills' outfit is still here but I don't believe that they have made much more than expenses. They now claim to be going away the last of June. Mrs. Long says she has no liking for them because they came up here contrary to their declared intentions. Mrs. Long is identified with the Mass. Aircraft Corporation, and I heard they also desired to come up to the Muster Grounds but Mrs. Long would not permit it as long as we were endeavoring to start here. However, I think that it would not be a paying proposition here unless the field were advertised a great deal The money is to made in tub fulls by going to new towns, small places where no operating has been done. The contract we have for the fifth of July calls for a thirty minute flight over Milford, at the instance of the Foresters, They want a loop or two and a spin, for which they are paying us 100 dollars.
I hope this finds you well,
with best wishes,
C. Oren Smith
