Dear Brooks;

President Driggs of the American Flying Club was here yesterday, en route to Burlington, Vermont, by air, and Smith loaned him a couple of pair of goggles. He stated that the Boston-Richmond air race of July 4th would start here at the Muster Field. He also asked Smith if you were staying in Texas to play the oil wells, and wanted to know when you would be back here. The fact that this meet will start from Framingham should be a good thing for Framingham and B B & S. Colnel [[Colonel]] Brant and Lieut. Richards took off in another DH4 and accompanied Colonel Drennan and Driggs to Burlington. They are expected to return here today. Will send you todays News which should contain an article we handed them last night.

The status of the company is about the same as usual, with Rice handing us a check for one share tomorrow and possibly Dick Long coming in some time this week. We shall probably go ahead and put on the stock selling campaign and try to get a good stock broker to take it over. It will probably mean giving them 20% commission. We think we ought to sell ten thousand worth if that be possible,

As to operations, Banks used the Avro last sunday and reaped $ 7.50 for our company, being 25% of the proceeds. He had to leave at four p. m., just about the time people wanted to go up, and take the bus back to Weston.
