April 23rd., 1932.

Dear Mrs. Dale:

Just one short line to congratulate you on your purchase of last night - it is indeed a splendid painting, of beautiful quality and very high merits altogether! Furthermore, I really consider that you were able to acquire it at a very reasonable price.

You certainly are aware of an exhibition of works by Boucher which will take place in Paris in the month of June and which is organized by Madame Jacques Balsan. If it were agreeable to you I think this painting should be called to the attention of Madame Balsan, and I would gladly communicate with her about this - if the whole idea appeals to you, of course.

Looking forward to soon having an opportunity of seeing you again, and asking you to remember me to Mr. Dale.

Believe me to be,
Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
