Dear Mr. & Mrs. Dale,

Because of unexpected circumstances beyond our control, we are compelled to postpone our proposed exhibition of the work of SEURAT until next Fall.

We greatly appreciate your willingness to cooperate with us and will get in touch with you again at the time of the exhibition, as it will include some of the most important works of this artist.

Thanking you again, we remain

Respectfully yours
