February 6th, 1956

Dear Mr. Davis:

It was most pleasant indeed to have had the opportunity of seing you again and meeting also your daughter and son.

Herewith you will find my firm's invoice covering your purchase of the so very sensitive drawing by BONINGTON in the amount of $400 (Four hundred Dollars).

The drawing has left Saturday by Air-Mail Registered and will remain insured by my firm until delivery to you. However, should I not hear from you by February 13th - I will take for granted that it has reached you in good condition and the insurance will then lapse. In vie w of this, may I ask you to be good enough to advise me should it not have reached you by that date or should any damage have been caused to it, which I certainly hope will not be the case.

I feel certain you will fully enjoy the exceptional quality of this lovely sketch, and with personal regards,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
