My dear Miss de Groot:

Remembering your very kind suggestion to keep in touch with you after the first of the year, I am writing at this time to find out if Mr. de Hauke and myself could make an appointment with you at any time suiting your convenience this week, in order to see your collection of paintings and drawings as well as your own work.

I trust that you have now finished the painting that you were telling us about, and I can assure you that it would give us a great deal of pleasure to call on you and see your things.

May I take the liberty of calling you within the next day or so for an appointment?

Looking forward to the pleasure of seeing you, please believe me to be,

Yours sincerely,

(Robert M. Levy)
