No 17-IV-1953
(à rappeler dans la réponse)

Dear Sir,

I heard from Mr. MAGGS, London, and Miss HARRSEN, Morgan Library, that you had a sale of some of the Arenberg Manuscripts. If there is a catalogue of that sale, would it be possible to get a copy? Every year we receive letters asking for information about some mss of that collection and I would like to know which ones are now in other hands, with eventually the names of the actual owners if it can be done.

May I tell you also that we are always interested in sales of Mss, especially if they are Flämish; we buy sometimes in London and in Paris. Would you be kind enough to send us a copy of your future catalogue like Sotheby, Christie, Quaritch and Magg Maggs.

In case we should be interested in one of your Mss especially, we have a Bookseller in Brussels, a friend of the Library who would help us for the transaction.

Very sincerely yours,
L. M. J. Delaissé
