February 21st, 1930.

Messrs. Alexis Delamare,
59 Quai George V,
Havre, France.

Dear Sirs:

Messrs. Hirshbach & Smith forwarded to you yesterday per S/S PARIS, a bill of lading for two cases containing pictures. Our numbers were JS 712 and JS 713, while on the report of the French Line Messrs. Hirshbach & Smith made out the numbers as being JS 713 and JS 723.

It is impossible for us at the present moment to ascertain how the mistake was made, but we wish to call this to your attention as there will be hardly any difficulty for you to receive the two (2) cases in Havre as they are marked with your address as well as with that of Messrs. Jacques Seligmann & Fils in Paris.

The first case is medium size, while the second is of quite large dimensions.

Trusting that you will be able to have these two cases forwarded promptly to our Paris firm in the usual way, and thanking you, we are

Yours truly,

JACQUES SELIGMANN & CO., INC.
