[[?]] Dereppe

January 19, 1948

Gentlemen:

We understand from Mr. Dereppe that the Spanish Frescoes, in which we have an interest, will be on exhibition at the Rhode Island School of Design, Museum of Art, Providence, Rhode Island, from February 8th to March 21, 1948, and that in accordance with our agreement you asked our authorization for the removal of said frescoes from their present location at the Manhattan Storage and Warehouse Company, 7th Avenue and 52nd Street, New York City, which we are, of course, glad to give you.

We further understand that not only are you taking care of this shipment, but that it is sent in your name and not in Mr. Dereppe's, and upon termination of the exhibition, the frescoes will be returned to the warehouse in your custody.

In case of sale, we count upon you to advise us accordingly and to make payment to our firm in accordance with said agreement.

[[?]] truly,
