(a) The payment in cash of the sum of $50,000, and, in addition thereto, the payment of a royalty during the life of the patent of ten per cent. of the total business transacted by the purchaser; or

(b) The payment in cash of the sum of $20,000, and, in addition thereto, the payment of a royalty during the life of the patent of fifteen per cent. of the total business transacted by the purchaser. 

Any such contract shall contain provisions requiring the purchaser to submit financial statements prepared by a certified public accountant covering the amount of his sales.

(5) In the event that any such agreement is consummated, you will pay to me, as and for my compensation hereunder, twenty-five per cent. (25%) of the cash sales price for such rights, and, in addition thereto, ten per cent. (10%) of the amount of the royalties paid by the purchaser or licensee under such agreement. 

(6) In the event that after the expiration of this contract a sale or license agreement is entered into by you with any person, firm or corporation whom we have contacted on your behalf during the period of the contract, you will be obligated to pay us our compensation on the same basis as set forth in paragraph (5) above. 

(7) Forthwith upon the acceptance by you of this agreement you will ship to me all off the necessary documents in connection with the construction and operation of the sign which is the subject matter of the above-mentioned patents. In addition thereto, at any time after I have paid to you the additional sum of $900 above mentioned, you will immediately upon receipt of notice from me forward to this country a complete sign, together with all of the apparatus in connection therewith, together with a competent technician to set up the same and demonstrate it to prospective customers. All expenses in connection with such shipment of the sign and the travelling expenses of the technician, as well as all expenses in connection with setting the same up in the United States, its care, repair and maintenance, shall be your sole responsibility, and I shall not be liable for any expenses whatsoever.
