Dear Mr. Robbins:

Though I have a great many more important problems on my mind, I am writing you in connection with the Chadbourne matter re transportation of parcels by subway, which, as you will recall, we discussed together.

I received a few days ago, the enclosed letter forwarded to me by Loeb. I am signing the letter, but PLEASE tear it up if you do not approve of it.

The matter has now been in abeyance for so many months that it can easily wait until I get back, should you not be in full accord with Mr. Chadbourne's suggested letter. The whole thing is so vague that it has me puzzled.

I still hope that I will be able to get back to America, but God only knows what will have happened by this time this letter reaches you.

With kindest thoughts,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
