Dear Miss Devigne:

How very thoughtful of you, and do have my very best thanks for the three copies of "Reflet de Tourisme" containing your articles on Etruscan painting, on Lotto, and on "Le Visage de Jesus" dans les Nativites des Primitifs Flamands".

The latter is probably the one I will read first as it seems so closely connected with the early manuscripts, a subject which in view of circumstances, that is the Duke d'Arenberg's collection, I have given a considerable amount of time and interest.

I know that I will derive much enjoyment from your writings, were it but for your flowing and distinguished style.

The International Congress held here in New York has given me the rare opportunity of seeing several of the learned men of Europe which was a privilege indeed, and which in turn has kept us all very busy.

Hoping you are well and with renewed appreciation and best personal regards,

Sincerely yours,
(Germain Seligman)
