RW:S May 12, 1938 Dear Mrs. Standish: The flying boys returned safely to New York, and though still a little airy in mind, I hasten to send you these few lines to tell you how much Captain Seligmann and I appreciate your kindness in showing us Mrs. Dillman's house. It was indeed a great treat, and I want to assure you that I am very grateful to you for having so kindly arranged this visit. What magnificent art treasures and how superbly arranged! You can readily understand how excited a great connoisseur like Captain Seligmann was. You were, furthermore, terribly sweet to have thought of me in giving me the information about Mrs. Candler. I tried to speak to her over the phone before my departure, but she was not at home at the time of my call. I then thought it better not to force the issue too much so I have written her a few lines a copy of which I am enclosing for your information. I am afraid I have to close for today. Should there be anything I can do for you here in New York, please never hesitate to let me know. In the meantime, I hope my lines find you well, and with my kindest personal regards, Believe me to be Always faithfully (Rolf H. Waegen) Mrs. W.
