Gentlemen,-

Replying to your favor of the 14th instant addressed to the Executors of the Estate of Michael Dreiver, I beg to say that the statement of your claim against the estate, which was forwarded to the executors on November 3rd, was duly received by the executors and filed with the other claims against the estate.

As perhaps you know, the law of this state governing the administration of estates authorizes the publication of notice for claims during a period of six months and permits the executors of the estate a period of one year from the date of issue of Letters Testamentary with which to make payment. It is hoped, however, that payment of the claims against the estate can be made before that time, and you may be assured that your claim will receive consideration as early as possible.

I do not think there are any further papers required in regard to your claim, nor do I see the necessity of your employing a lawyer to prosecute it, unless you prefer to do so.

Very truly yours,
(s) Albert S. Ridley
Executor
