We got up early to clean the house. I called Craylon and she couldn't stay. Jo Ann Kere called just to find out what the deal is with [[double underscore]] Bill [[/double underscore]]. She digs him. Rick C. called for Wanda's phone number. We talked for awhile. Wanda called & told me about Rick. Jules came over for a min. He called for Pat P. phone number. He's always asking [[double underscore]] me. [[/double underscore]] for everyones number. Ugh! [[double underscore]] Bill [[/double underscore]] called! (about 9:20). We're going out Sat. I talked to Mike Cordon.

Mon Joan & I went to Sears & shoped [[shopped]] for Bob-Mike-Joan. We ate at the "village Food Bazar". I called Wanda. I got a new green sweater. [[double underscore]] Bill [[/double underscore]] came over early tonight. I was in a swim suit and he wanted to go shopping for school cloths. [[clothes]] We wetn to "Crest Town". We bought some candy & ate it all. [[double underscore]] Bill [[/double underscore]] bought some levis. [[Levis]] We saw [[underscore]] Bob Brown [[/underscore]] We went to Los Olives and looked at the Pool-rode the elvator [[elevator]]. Some lady shacked up with a man & robbed him. We went to J.I.T.B. after that we rode over Wanda's I got my books I loaned her. We came back and started to go swim. & Mom was sick.

Bill went alone. I went out & said Good night

Fri. [[strikethrough]] Wednesday, [[/strikethrough]] August 24
I omly [[only]] slept till about 9:30. I started making my blue outfit. [[double underscore]] Bill [[/double underscore]] called about 1:30. He said he was at Rod's so I told him to come over. We went swimming over at Rod's house. Rod was trying to find so one [[someone]] to come over and swim. We finale [[finally]] when [[went]] over and got Wanda. We swam till 4:00 [[double underscore]] Bill [[/double underscore]] & Rod came over & we went & got some cokes - poatotoe [[potato]] chips & bread. They only stayed a little while. I told Bill to drive by & see if the Cad. was here & if not come in. HaHa! They stayed home. I called Pam. and I didn't get to see Bill. I sewed [[line]] & read the book [[underscore]] Rembrandt. [[/underscore]]

Sat. [[strikethrough]] Thursday, [[/strikethrough]] August 25
Today I called Jan M. Craylon S. called. Bill was suspose [[supposed]] to call & tell me what time He was coming by. I had to call Jan & find out. He came by about 7:30. We went to see "The Bird Man of Alatarz" [[Alcatraz]] Kirk Douglas. We doubled with Jan & Mike C. We left early & went & messed at Encanto Park. We took Jan home first & then me. Bill & I had fun. On the way home we say Mike L.
