Dear Colonel: Through our local press I read an article a few days ago advising of your affiliation with the Air Transport Association of America and while I did not grasp the exact nature of the connection, I rather sense that your relation will bear toward it something along the lines of Judge Landis in baseball and Will Hayes in the moving picture industry. Whatever it may be, I know that you can be most helpful to that industry, which I congratulate on its selection. It sounds like a great opportunity in a most interesting and developing field of endeavor and I should imagine that you will be quite happy in the job. Naturally, I wish you the fullest measure of success, which I confidently predict. If you feel we may be helpful here at any time please consider us at your command. Kindest regards. Cordially yours, Jas S Rogan President. AcK'd
