MEMBERS AIDED IN PAYMENT OF DUES
————
Seeking to facilitate the payment of dues by members of the Young Men's Business Club, Treasurer Alvin E. Johnson announced yesterday that a convenient table will be set up at the entrance of the Grand Ball Room today to receive dues.
The following letter has been sent to those whose payments have fallen behind:
"My records show that your dues for the current period, $4, have not been paid. I am sure this is an oversight on your part, and, feeling that you have an interest int he club's affairs, wish to quote Article 9 of the Constitution and Section 6 of Article 6 of the by-laws, respectively:
" 'At all general meetings of the membership, 50 members of the club shall constitute a quorum. No member shall be permitted to vote upon any matter at any meeting unless he shall be in good standing.'
" 'The term "good standing" as used in these by-laws shall apply only to those members who have paid their dues up to and including the current six months period'."
