[[images of a cat being bathed and groomed]]. Water Cat-astrophe! This soggy Persian cat doesn't have to talk to express just how he feels - those glaring eyes tell his outrage as he's subjected to the hated ordeal of a bath, shampoo and hairstyling. Why, "Solon" looks meaner than the Devil himself (above) as he gets a horrid dunking in his bath by owner Jo Kemp, who's an operator of a cat grooming salon in Sea Point, South Africa. Solon's huge eyes nearly pop out with anger (top right) as he braces for an onslaught of his dreadful shampoo treatment. Then the poor feline is forced to endure a rinsing (center). Finally he's dried off - and as Jo applies the finishing touches, Solon looks as if he's surprised by the neatly groomed feline he sees in the mirror (right). "Is that ME?" he seems to say.
