Page 3 Oscar Brambach
The name was Brambach. The pianos by that name are history. The couple had twin sons. One was Oscar Brambach. My arrival 1939- L.Is. [[ Long Island]] from Being Wash. Hostess ten yrs. had us temporize in an Apt - as we wanted to be near one of the few named as such landing fields & out of humid (non-air - conditioned Wash D.C.) Son, Geo. C. [[Weaver]] age 21 won his Pilot's license at Roosevelt Field L.Is. [[ Long Island]] where his Dad in his teens had flown with Katherine Stinson & serviced her plane. As I felt it would be - we were into War II
 We moved all our furniture into #4 South Whitehall Blvd - Dead End (later violated illegally as such). We brought our [[first?]] 5ft 1 in. Knabe Parlour Grand - $1385 cash - 1928 in Toledo, Ohio. Had to find a skilled piano tuner. L.Is. [[ Long Island]] still wholesome, small merchants etc. found Oscar Brambach etired [[retired]]. He enriched our family life and so happy to get his hands on a fine piano. xxx. When radios came in people forgot pianos
