[[square]] Dr. and Mrs.Frank W. Ballou of Forty-fifth Street entertained at tea on Sunday, February 14th, for Mr. and Mrs. Arthur W. Seitz and Captain and Mrs. Alexander Yereance, who have left the community and gone to East Orange, New Jersey, where Captain Seitz has been called by his business. Mrs. Ballou was assisted in receiving the guests, who numbered a large group of neighbors and friends of the guests of honor, by Mrs. George B. Woods, Mrs. Delos O. Kinsman, Mrs. Arthur C. Christie, Mrs. Frederick Carpenter and Mrs. Byers M. Bachman.

[[square]] Mrs. George G. Whitney of Forty-fourth Place entertained a tea recently for the Washington Wells Club of which she is a member. Mrs. Irving W. Ketchum of Forty-fifth Street, presided at the tea table. Among the guests were Mrs. Marshall Clark, Mrs. Charles Neff, Mrs. Herbert Coward, Mrs. Herbert Knight, Mrs. A.W. Holderness, Mrs. E.W. Burrough, Mrs. Horace L. Dawson, Miss Grace Johnson and Miss Mary Lou Johnson

[[square]] Mrs. Melvin D. Hildreth of Wesley Heights was hostess to a party of sixteen at luncheon and bridge recently at Olney Inn in Maryland. Her guests included Mrs. Raymond Norton, Mrs. Gregor Macpherson, Mrs. Claude Warren, Mrs. William Partridge, Mrs. T.A. Ford, Miss Lila Tighe, Miss Ruth Tighe, Mrs. Alexander W. Thomas, Mrs. Stephen C. Hopkins,Mrs. H. Laurie Garrett, Mrs. Henry Wells, Miss Ethel Regan, Miss Aileen Regan and Mrs. Arthur B. Farnham.

[[square]] Miss Mary Lathrop, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Lathrop entertained at a Valentine party in her home when her guestswere Miss Jean Yereance, Miss Barbara Washburn, Miss Betty Ballou, Miss Mary Davidson, Miss Anne Cochran, Miss Margaret Young and Miss Vi Zirkle.

[[square]] Mrs. Delos O. Kinsman of Klingle Street was hostess at a luncheon in February in compliment to Mrs. Arthur Seitz and her daughter, Mrs. Alexander W. Yereance who have left the community for East Orange, New Jersey, where Mr. Yereance's business has called him. The guests included Mrs. Frank W. Ballou, Mrs. Christopher Brown Garnett, Mrs. Arthur C. Christie, Mrs. Isaac Shoemaker, Mrs. George B. Woods, Mrs. Homer F. Dawson, Mrs. Gregor Machpherson, Mrs. Wesley M. Gewehr, Mrs. J.C. Freeland, Mrs. Byers M. Bachnman, Mrs. Max J. Proffitt, Mrs. Charles B. Heinemann, Mrs. Charles C. Gager, Mrs. Hiram K. Green, Mrs. Robert O. Saunders and Mrs. Walter Davidson.
