MRS> GANN GUEST OF HONOR AT COMMUNITY CLUB

A very distinguished group of women, headed by Mrs. Edward Everett Gann, sister of the Vice-President, Mr. Charles Curtis, were visitors to the community recently, when the Magazine Committee of the League of Republican Women of the District of Columbia, entertained at bridge and tea at the Wesley Heights Community Club. The editorial staff of the committee is headed by our neighbor, Mrs. T. Kinsey Carpenter of Garfield Street, editor, and Mrs. Ariel F. Cardon, Mrs. Harry Daugherty, Mrs. Edward A. Keys, Mrs, Grace Hays Riley, Mrs. James R Watson and Mrs. Dawley and Mrs. Cardon, daughter of Senator Reed Smoot, are residents of the community.
Mrs. Gann was the guest of honor and others in the party of distinguished Republican women were Mrs. Alvin T. Hert, vice-chairman of the National Republican Committee woman from the District of Columbia; Mrs. Virginia White Speel, national committee woman from the District of the League; Mrs. Frederick A. Tilton, wife of the Assistant Postmaster General; Mrs. James E. Watson, Mrs. Arthur Vandenburg. Mrs. Gilbert Grosevenor, Mrs. Henry Alvah Strong. Mrs. James Good, Mrs. Millard West, Mrs. L. J.
