In planning her garden, Mrs. Herbert A. Howell, 3113 Forty-fourth Street, has worked to create an atmosphere of wide vistas. The photograph to the right was made from the lower level of her garden. It was awarded second place in the amateur class. A lovely little pool, not shown in the picture, is an important part of the garden. [[image]] One of the many beautiful spots in the garden of Mr. and Mrs. George Nelson Peek, Hickory Hill, 4851 Glenbrook Road.
