The Edsel Ford trophy contended for in the annual reliability tour sponsored by the aviation chamber of commerce and won this year by John P. Wood, piloting an Advance Aircraft company Waco airplane, will soon be on exhibition in Troy, according to Clayton J. Brukner, president of the company. Mr. Wood, winner of this year's tour by a big margin, and Charles Meyers, a Trojan and Advance Aircraft comapny's test pilot, are expected to arrive here Tuesday morning. Meyers, who won fame last year by winning the trans-continental derby, finsihed fourth in the tour with his Waco entry. He also will share in the prize money and will be otherwise recompensed for his fine showing.
