The French Hugonaut Protestant name Jacquin
which book after the Calvanistic views.

Wishing to remain Protestant they moved to
Scotland. The new clan took after the name
of the Eldest male..which was John, and pro-
nounced JUN. The full name was therefore:

JUNKINfolk

A little of the History I was told, the
John C. Junkin, a twin went to Canada as a
lumber jack..Mr. Dollar, his chum started the
Dollar Steamship lines to Alaska; John C. Junkin
in Drayton, NO. Dakota, created a Dredge that
saved the town from floods; He went to Canada
then to Michigan where he raised a daughter,
two sons, Elwood J. Junkin, "Sam" graduated
from High School, born designer of mobile
thins; Pres.and designer of the famous
        John C.Junkin (father of "Sam")
